Round – I: Idea Submissions
Participants/teams will be required to submit an Idea as an Executive Summary in a 2-slider PPT format. It can be on any of the following topics: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for OEMs, AR/VR and Gaming Experiences in Mobility, Mobile Applications for the Auto World, Internet of Things, or New Technology Demonstrations (Gen AI).

Grand Finale
The National Finalists will get a chance to present to the senior leadership of Volkswagen as well as heads of all functions.

The 4th edition of i.mobilothon is here. The vision behind i.mobilothon (VWITS’ very own hackathon) has always been to fuel innovation and build product ideas that add concrete value to the Volkswagen Group. In its 4th edition, we would like to bring the i.mobilothon with its four themes right up to your working desk!
You are invited to share with us a business use case, a problem statement, or a pain area if you will. Tell us some details and try to pinpoint the problem. We will choose some of the most crucial and scalable business use cases as our hackathon teams. We are inviting YOU, all the brilliant and creative nerds and code-freaks to show your spark!

Eligibility & Team Rules:
- B.E/B.Tech (CSE, IT only) from 2025 year of pass outs with full-time education only (Part-time and distance education are not considered).
- Integrated Dual Degree Course, Full Time M. Tech, MSc., MCA from 2025 year of pass outs are eligible.
- Your highest educational qualification will be considered.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in India either by citizenship/have relevant work permit documents.
- Participants must register in teams of 1-4 members.
- Cross-specialisation teams are allowed.
- Cross-college teams are allowed.
- A participant cannot be a member of more than one team.
- Any deviation from the aforementioned rules will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team.
Competition Structure:
Round – I: Idea Submission
- All the registered participants/teams can participate in this round.
- Participants/Teams are required to submit an Executive summary as a 1 to 2-slider PPT.
- It can be on any of the following topics:
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for OEMs
- AR/VR and Gaming Experiences in Mobility
- Mobile Applications for the Auto World
- Internet of Things
- New Technology Demonstrations (Gen AI)
- You’ll be able to make submissions until the deadline for this round anytime during the challenge window.
- Participating teams in this round will move on to the next round based on their performance.
- The deadline for submissions is Sunday, 20th October 11:59 PM.
Round – II: Prototype Submissions
- After evaluating the ideas shared during the ideation phase, the shortlisted participants/teams will move forward to the Prototype Phase.
- The Prototype Phase will start on Monday, October 28, 2024.
- Shortlisted participants/teams need to build a prototype as a solution based on the idea shared in Round – I and submit an 8 to 10-slider PPT and Video.
- The last date for prototype submission is Sunday, November 10, 2024.
Grand Finale:
- The National Finalists will get a chance to present to the senior leadership of Volkswagen as well as heads of all functions.
- Further details of the national-level round will be disclosed after all the rounds are complete.
- The Grand Finale will be held in December 2024.
